Yes, the cartridge will also work on the 90 727 if you enter 89 vin 
T. will NOT view the 727 turbo GP 727 turbo related data though 
(vin V)... the 89 update isnt really up to date  beware  ;-)

you can get (when you can find them) a complete OTC 2000 kit for $135 
- $175 and usually comes with 1988 cartridges. the ONE i saw did 
anyway.
