128KByte EPROMs

What type of EPROM is used in the (Australian) ECM's/PCM's with
128KBytes of PROM?  Do these systems use the 33x2 pin MEMCALs?  I had
assumed that they used a 28 pin EPROM with a single control line, but
such a beast is next to unavailable.  A 32 pin EPROM would of course not
fit in a MEMCAL set up for a 28 pin chip.
