Are you looking for the first step?
No recommendations, the first thing I got was the Eprom burner.  From
Intronics, called pocket programmer.  Does what I need so far.  Maybe
not like a full tool box, but definitely the right wrenches so far. 
Then had to get an eraser, but the easy part ends there.
