I think Peter may have explained it well as I was telling him off list, but
basically (And this is when the Mrs must be out shopping), you run a LONG
cable from the car to the P.C :-)

I then built up a kit that was designed to adapt the sound card to accept
low level inputs and upto about 20V I think. Sampled the data using a sound
sampler program like CoolEdit96 www.syntrillium.com (I think), which on the
demo version allows samples no longer than 1 minute, but thats just fine for
this experiment. Anyway it then displays the data as a waveform where you
can zoom in/out and once the data portion is on the screen, capture it using
one of the many screen capture programs available, edit it in your favourite
paint program and post it to the list :-)

I think Peter covered any links needed for stuff, write to me if you still
need info.

P.S - If you were really mad you could sample the data, write it to a CD
then go cruzin with that cranked on the stereo........maybe not hey.
