While on the subject, wife's '90 Bonne saw zero degrees in Indiana a month
ago and blew both middle cam bearings out (one in bottom of pan, other fell
out when removed cam. Both center journals scored, end journals and crank
perfect - never saw that before). Fun part was that we took it to a dealer
in Indiana when pressure dropped who said engine was fine/guage was rong.
Drove home 1100 miles at 70+ and never missed a beat. Am thinking about
upgrading to Series II or at least TPI instead of MPI. Any suggestions ?
