C3 and P4 are designators for certain class of
Chevy/Caddy/Buick/Olds/Pontiac ECM's.  C3 is the older, 160 PWM baud
ALDL type of ECM, and the P4 are the 8192 baud serial ECM's.

But you are correct... C3 was also a designation for a generation of
Corvettes, with the current model (1999) being a C5.
