C3 is _not_ based on the 6809.  It is instead related to the 6801.

(The 6809 is to the 6800/6801/68HC11 as the 8088 is to the
8080/8085/Z80.  Sort of.  Kind of.)

Also, the P4 is not based on the 68HC11F1.  I'd be inclined to say the
'HC11 family is based on (or inspired by) the P4.  Two reasons:  The P4
is missing a few 'HC11 opcodes.  The P4 seems to be NMOS.
