| The difference is in what chip locations are populated.  Your '7277 is
| missing the O2 amplifier (20 pin chip) and the high speed ALDL
| driver/receiver (28 pin chip).  The '7165 has both.  I'm told the '7808
| is missing just the ALDL chip.  And oh, the '7165 comes in a longer case
| leaving space for a bunch of air.

Not having the O2 amp., would mean it's an open loop ecm, or just that they
did the closed loop in another manner?.
