Okay my turn:

1.  took 4 weeks of swapping out electronics and parts to find a 
poorly made set of performance intake runners causing a vacuum 
leak. Now I know those symptoms.

2.  assembled buick v6 in car to find oil slinger left out.

3.  rebuilt oil pump, tightened it too much, cranked motor which 
ground off the cam-to-dist teeth. THATS a wierd sound.

4. took all TPI intake off without disconnecting battery and 
accidentally pressed the remote start while shoving keys in my 
pocket.  .----> fual pump BZZZZ spewing fual on the engine then 
starter GRRGRRGRR while I'm running for the extinguisher.  nothing 
bad happened sept for the stain in my shorts.
