Seems it can be pretty crude. As long as the ecm gets pulled to ground at
2000p/m it doesn't care about the duty cycle ect. The increase has to be
pretty linear. I.e. at 50 mph=27hz and 100mph= 54hz (mph*p/m)/3600= hz

Does anyone know if the VSS is intended to give equally spaced
pulses
at a constant speed? I mean there are 3 pulses per revolution if I
understand correctly (GM F-body app) - are they equally spaced or is
there a deviation designed in? if not - hows the manufacturing
tolerance - pretty tight?
