Owning both a supercharged 5.7 (L98) and a 87 Grand National (and no
other vehicles) I can say that there is more you gotta do to a 350
than supercharge it with 6 psi to catch up for the mildly
modified buick's straight line performance. You might consider a 3.8
turbo w/ 2004R retrofit. I know its been done in the Monte SS but I'm
not sure of the complexity. you might pick up an 87 driveline for
$2500 w/ 100k miles. then theres the 4.3 caddy motor controversy..
"is there a turbo rated crank in there?" junkyard will sell one for
$250 cause they dont know its special. maybe its not.

now a twin turbo LT-1 that would be something..

Dutweiler sells a twin turbo 4.3 v6 I believe but get out your DFI
book.
