Delphi has the part number for the gm OBD II cables.  I don't have the 
catalog with me, but I did post it some time ago, maybe an archive search 
would turn it up.
  Ya the autoxray is about the cheapest OBD I, I've heard off, other then 
getting a dead scanner and hacking it up.  Some times shops/dealers are a 
source for dead stuff.
