VE approximations ?

Any comments on how to alter VE tables after minor changes to
engine/-environment. I don't have (currently) scanner so BLM's
not read (yet), and what I did to the engine : 1:6 Crane roller
rockers and environment : headers and CAT removed.

What I have in mind is that some list members might have tried
to make such alterations and made changes to prom maps. The real
problem is that car "feels" underpowered but there is huge
amount of torque in low-rpm.

The car is Chevy VAN 20, 350 TBI and th700. Rear is (probably) stock.
Computer is 7747 and stock prom was ANLX 5474.

Current ANLX-originated tables:
VE2 (0x3C7)
RPM  k4  k8 1k2 1k6 2k0 2k4 2k8 3k2 3k6 4k0 4k4 4k8 5k2 5k6 6k0 6k4
VE2  39  39  39  39  39  39  39  39  41  35  32  21  17   9   0   0

EGR Temp On (0x1b3) = 120 (~40C)
Malf.flags : O2 low (13) and EGR (32) ON

These are what I'm thinking to try:
RPM  k4  k8 1k2 1k6 2k0 2k4 2k8 3k2 3k6 4k0 4k4 4k8 5k2 5k6 6k0 6k4
VE2  39  39  39  39  39  39  39  39  41  35  35  35  35  35  21   0

EGR Temp On -> 0 (200C)
Malf.flags : O2 low and EGR -> OFF

Flags are currently off because one-wire O2 sensor located in header
collector.

I think i'm gonna make dual-port-ram complemented with processor and
Flash (and ALDL serial port to any PC) so next time I drive that
beast to wheel dyno I'm gonna tune it up with multiple dyno runs but
before that it would be good to get ECM closer to expected values
so BLMs are not in limits...
