Not sure what you mean here.  The 1227747 is the 87-91 4.3 5.0 5.7 truck 
ecm, the simplest gmecm I know of.  1227730 is very nice peice been used in 
numerous applications, no history of premature failure.
  Early 165 have/had a history of poor soldering
