limp home mode..

In Limp home mode on say a 808 for example is there any timing control or is
it just fixed to base timing say 10o BTDC in my case.  I was playing around
the other day and thought I would try limp home mode just for the fun of it..

The car ran so smooth I could hardly believe it.. It did lack a lot of power
when you put your boot into it but normal driving I couldn't notice...

It was definately in limp home mode.. I completly removed eprom from MEMCAL...
