Stupid question on fuel pressure

No, I haven't been doing that.  Makes sense.  So, sounds like setting
pressure should be done at idle with vacuum line unplugged, correct?  Thanks
for the help.

ARe you removing the vacuum line from the FPR?   THe vacuum line is
there so that the fuel pressure to intake pressure is constant, so the
it reduces the fuel pressure enough to maintain a constant difference,
and 8psi would be about the right amount.
