Why not try and record what the knock sensor hears?  Put a cassette tape
recoder in the Sy, connect it to the knock sensor, and record what the
knock sensor hears.  Take the tape in the house and listen to it, and 
see if any of the sounds are things rattling that you might recognize
the source?
