Well, that's the 'dashpot emulation', right?  I've always felt that it was 
quite exagerated.  All that I am able to suggest is, check the ECT (alright, 
I just always say that!), but really, check the TPS, and verify that the ECM 
knows the engine RPM - I mean, it oughta, but, I'd like to see it on the 
scanner.
