ZIP Cleaning

How about contact cleaner? The stuff they make to spray in volume control
pots, rotary switches, etc.? But...., the cleaner works by lubricating the
metal contacts, then they expect you to wiggle the switch or rotate it to
wipe them. For a ZIF (zero insertion force) socket, I suppose you could
insert a junk prom, then pull the lever to start applying pressure, then
slide the prom back and forth to wipe the contacts? dave
