Answering my own question, I wrote:

I've "acquired" (?) an interesting document that covers the Commodore VR 
ALDL data stream (both manual and the auto with the 4L60-E). Thanks xxx!

If someone would like to create an EFIlive XML file using this information
then please contact me off-list and I'll put my information thru the 
"clean room" first.
