The 1227748 ECM is a P4, but uses a bare socket and one of those black
plastic clips, like a 747, instead of a memcal, like the other P4s.
It's also a 28 pin socket instead of a 24 like the 747. On a 747 you
can remove the funny GM socket and put in a ZIF, but on the 748 the
holes are .475 inches apart rather than .6 inches, so a regular socket
won't fit. Steve is making a little PC board with holes at .475 and
.6", as an adapter, so you can put a regular socket in. Seems like they
might only be useful for the 1227748, though.
