Usually, An adjustable regulator is used for those with no access to 
reprogramming eproms, and to globally richen/lean the motor due to 
breathing changes, or injector changes.  It can be a hassle, because you 
burn a chip, adjust FP, now, which change )
(FP or CODE) affected the results?  Both did, and you can fight yourself 
forever and get nowhere...
If the stock injectors have run out of flow at stock pressure for your app, 
a higher pressure regulator can help bandaid the situation...
