bithoist -- Help for the compiler challenged

Guess I'm a little thick--how do you check a *.bin with it ? I can get a
java app to work,
figure out most programs--but I'm lost here. I've got everything in the same
directory--it
doesn't seem to matter what sub command I enter at the prompt. Kinda
grew up with Microsoft--unfortunately <g>.
