Detonation 101

It is interesting that there was something severely wrong with this
cylinder yet the owner says that it was from an improperly timed cam. 
Don't beleive that to be the whole story.  I notices some cooling
nozzles in the block, I wonder if he lost some of his flow to that
cylinder and that contributed to the detonation.
