Saturn stuff

All,

Does the Saturn flash ecm bare any similarities
to other GM flash ecms? My son, the Saturn owner,
aquired a CDROM from his buddy at the dealership.
It's suppose to contain the files, etc. they use to
program and update the ecms. I thought I'd like to 
take a look at it. Do I need to apply more pressure
(cut him out of the will) to get my hands on it or
is it not likely to be helpful?
