If it's done the same way as it is here, then you use a program on the CD 
rom (called TIS - Technical Information System) to download the bin file 
into the Tech1/2, and then you use the Tech1/2 to send the bin to the ECU. 
However, you need to know a dealer password (or key) to get into the bit of 
the TIS program that downloads the code into the Tech1.

If the cd is anything like the GM cd, all the calibrations are zipped and
just partial
files. There is no complete bin files in there. You need to know more about 
how the software is transfered to the vehicle. Is a Tech2 used or is it 
piped
directly to the car?
