Another Newbie Question, part III

I doubt that I know enough about the mechanics and electronics of an EFI
system to do a credible job in a salvage yard foray. The responses I've
gotten assume some elementary knowledge on my part and this is , in my case,
incorrect. That's why I inquired about a turn-key conversion. So, for the
absolute novice who would like the benefits of EFI: is there a company or
individual from whom I might purchase a good, running setup? Thanks.

Gm spends about 1.23984837459388748399 Bazillion dollars a year in wiring
harnesses, and R+D. How much ya think these guys spend for R+D, couple
