Hi all,
Turbo P4.doc.pdf gives the first 8 bytes in the EPROM binary as being
(actual values from my eprom) :

0x8000-0x8001 = 0x0919 = 16 bit EPROM ID
0x8002-0x8003 = 0x006F = 16 bit DATECODE
0x8004-0x8005 = 0x064F = 16 bit SEQNUM
0x8006-0x8007 = 0x4F33 = 16 bit Checksum on bytes 0x8008 to 0xFFFF
inclusive
0x8008		= 0xB0  = 8 bit PROGID

Does anybody know how to decode the DATECODE and SEQNUM words ? I now have
a selection of EPROMS all supposedley AXSH2423, but some have different
values in DATECODE and SEQNUM. It has been suggested to me that part of the
engine number is encoded in these, and I'd be interested if this were true.

Ta,
