What the max rpms anyones used a gmecm on?

I've been asked to help with the efi on a IRL (Indy Racing League) engine.
It's a transplant into an old GTP car.  Yes, really.
  Thing is these V-6s turn up to about 12.5K rpm
  The other option is the MOTEC.  But, to have one and a spare is kinda $$$.
  Anyway, has anyone tried running a gm ecm up to these kinda numbers?.
  Guess that would be about 9K on a V-8
  Seein Steve Millens old GTU car and 5 IRL engines in a barn today kinda
blew me away.  I gotta get a camera, to document the stuff I run into.  I
was really at overwhelm, and I think I saw a couple sensors for a DIS.
Engines weren't fully assembled.  Oh has spares for almost 2 more.  And the
guy isa junkyarder, got all this for a song.
