>Bottom line , NO2 is a massive dose of oxygen injected into the Intake
Tract, unfortunately "as is" offerings fall short in real life operation
in the
systems inability to be in "sync" with the LT1 PCM . These areas are the
fuel curve and O2 sensor interdependent responses, which at this point
in time aren't controlled by the LT1 PCM. Yes, separate timers / controllers
are available , there's a latency time between the responses of the two
controllers with respect to the rapid change in AFR No2 produces. These
inefficiencies need to be worked out to have a properly functioning No2
System, this just scratches at the surface of the complexity of the problems.
The O2s aren't "hurt" per say , there merely being fed oxygen content
ratios that the PCM may not necessarily respond to in a positive way.
Other rubs include where the No2 is being injected into the Inlet Tract,
relative to the plenum volume. For sure any attempt to do spray before
the MAF would be a serious mistake.
Overall , unless your'e able to get control of what is a carburetor system
  by design,
swapped over to EFI , expect to spend $ and time + a few toasted engines
to get it right. It can be made to work , likely without the LT1 PCM and MAF,
with an aftermarket controller and Alpha N fuel management like many
Nitros racers use. Is that what you REALLY want ? Can't see it from my
house but I see a can of worms and a fishing pole.
