   We do these upgrades to LT1/4 , the most common low $ setup is the 383,
much less cost than attempt use of 70s 400 block and components.
Upgrade to a 383 to a hurt/tired Lt1 is not much different in cost than
normal performance remanufacture on 4.030 x 3.480 combo. Course , someone
opts for JEs vs Ohio's or Olivers vs GM PMs , Callies vs Cast , $$$ + 
substantially.
