Mike, this code also was used in the Corvette.  CARS is "Computer Aided
Ratio Selector"  Also knows as "Skip Shift"
NV ratio helps the ecm know what gear the car is in.  It's a ratio of engine
speed to mph.
Passby has to do with TCC controls.
