Yep.... The 94's should have heated o2 sensor..
My dad's 94 fs chev 350 (tbi has 2 of them)
1 heated before the cat on y pipe and one after.

Subject: Heated or not O2 sensor
I'm wondering how far down the exhaust system can my O2 sensor be
before I
need to use a heated sensor. I have a 94 GM TBI 350 that I put in an
older
vehicle. As I'm sure you all know, the original location was in the
driver's
side exhaust manifold. I couldn't use the original manifolds. The
exhaust
shop did not listen very well when they put the bung for the O2
sensor in.
The first time they mounted it about 40" from the manifold, in the Y
pipe,
where the two sides of the exhaust join together. I took it back and
told
them where it was originally and to move it closer. Well it's
closer, but
it's still 18" away from the manifold. Is this still too far away
for the
one wire O2 sensor? The same year 4.3L V6 had a heated sensor. I
believe it
was mounted in the Y pipe. Could I just use this sensor if I need a
heated
one?
I am wondering if this is the source of an off idle hesitation this
truck
has when it is cold sometimes. The problem seems to get better as
the truck
warms up. Ideas?
