Plug reading

Hey all,
Have a question on plug reading.
This is on a street vehicle running pump unleaded.
Insulators mostly white, just like new, but on one side and one side only, 
there is a brown half moon shaped area from the center electrode 
down.  It's maybe 1/8" to 3/16" and is darkest next to the top of the 
insulator and fades as it goes down.
All 8 cylinders are like this.
No abnormal electrode wear and no audible detonation/ping.
