MAP signal dampening

Remote mounting, and large lines can dampen the MAP signal, but that's
usually exactly what you don't want to do. I'd recommend looking in the
code for filtering rates or such.
Unless you want a delayed response to everything else, ie transistions.
I've tried min cross section hoses with 1-2-3 orfices in them, large line
(3/8") with restrictors, small tomato paste cans used a dampening volumes,
I have never gotten very good results with any of it.
There is no universal answer for this, as far as I know.
Big cams have a lumpy idle, bigger cams have a lumpier idle, if that's
what your talking about. The dumber the ecm is at idle the less this is a
problem.
I after trying lots of answers, I perfer to use the oem gm small plastic
hose (ie 1/16" ID), and mount it as close to source as possible.
If you keep hitting the ASR (anti stall routine), and see the IAC jump all
around, then try the different pintle route.
Sometimes lots of advance helps (at idle).
