Best bet is to put a 0.1UF cap in series with the output of the coupling 
transformer, and a 1K resistor across the DIS input.
Will limit the voltage and make the resistance proper.  Could also put back 
to back 5V zeners across the input to clamp the signal incase the voltage 
is still too high... I'd scope it before hooking it to the DIS just to be sure.
