Driving an HEI Module with other signals

The (however many wire it is?) HEI module was designed from conception to be
operated by a logic signal!, so doing so means just that - connect a logic
signal! - 'Turn on' the bypass mode, and just feed the logic input; the VR
input is needed/used only for starting/limp-home on those old things.

Without the VR _input_, you lose the _reference _output_.

The truth about about advance in the module when using the VR input only is
a lot different than what I have seen in any of the books (they all say 'no
advance'); the module provides a step advance above some RPM 2,500, or so
(this means don't forget to plug in the distributor cable!
