The Boost Sense option is a little bit of wiring and a 3 bar MAP sensor; it
puts the MAP signal in the MAT wire and then reads boost out  on the ALDL
data stream in place of the old MAT value.  This setup counts on the fact
(as Jim mentioned) that the MAT is barely used for fuel corrections.
Obviously, if the calibration used the MAT value extensively, you'd get some
really weird results as your "air temps" swung radically back and forth.
