I had same GM data problem looking at Tech-2 obd-2 with simulator.
The same message will put one car in drive and another in reverse.
This, seems rather confusing way of building data tables.
All other manufacturers seem to have bettter design in that RPM means RPM
for all years and models.
There is rather exclusive(expensive) institute called ETI that manufactures
supply scan tool data to,
thou it seems not all, which separates factory scan tools from aftermarket.
