Used aircraft units run $50 or so, strap-on w/ 1/8" hole yep. But its not a
thermister type (is it??) I want to monitor and log it using a simple uP
interface. Trouble with the used aircraft units is they don't usually have
graduation markings labeled, just an adjustable red needle or something.
I found units for the FLUKE line of meters, (John Fluke) but i am not THAT
interested in tinkering ($$$).
maybe theres an RTD for the 1800° range? a strap on w/ thermal conductive
would be good nuff for my porpouses, if it exists. I don't imagine that if
a strap-on was acceptable, that EGT's wouldn't all be that way. guess it's
not ok.
