The actual ecm(which I don't know if it's the original) says ASTN  on the
outside
near the service#.

You've got a prom from a 88-89 W car. I'd get the correct one for your 
vehicle and start there. Post the type of trans and emission compliance 
(federal, california or altitude) and we'll be able to get you the correct 
part number.
