Relocating IAT sensor?

I'm glad this has come up again.. I never really got a responce before to
this:

I have not seen where IAT affects ANAYTHING in the '727 / '730. I see it
written to ONCE and never READ or used unless I'm missing an indexed
indirect bitwise X or something.
