Confusion

Hi people!

I am the proud new owner of a 1989 FORD (Sorry GM guys!!) mustang 5.0
I am very experienced in assembly language, etc, and I was hopping to find
some
tuning software for the EEC-IV, like the excellent work that I have seen for
the
GM stuff (GREAT work guys!) I have not been that lucky. I haven't seen any
public
prom to ford-weird bus interfaces, and I haven't seen any GUI-easy edit
software
for the Ford EEC that doesn't cost $$$$$. I haven't been able to find any
public-domain
tuning software. Is it that I just haven't hit the right links, or is it
simply not as
openly supported as the GM ECU's ? Anyway, I really don't want to have to do
it all
myself, and I was hoping there was some public support of the EEC-IV,
Can anyone enlighten me as to what is available? And, if there is nothing
in the public domain (in the way of a re-programmable interface for the
EEC-IV)
would anyone be interested in developing one with me?

Thanks!!
