Mike , appears you've got the bases covered , match parts = Harness,
controller and power train
and you're in business. A point to consider = 4L80E weighs in @ minimum
100+ lbs heavier than a
4L60E and consumes 20+ Hp more to operate. 4L80 E has input / output
speed transducers , 4L60E
has speed output only , gets input speed from engine. Gear ratios =
4L60[E] 3.06 , 1.62, 1.00, .70
4lL80E , 2.48 , 1.48 , 1.00 , .78. There's much to consider in the
combinations vs Engine , Vehicle
profiles. There are internal wiring differences between the 2 ,
Xmissions. Choose wisely.
