manual replacing auto tranny

Was there a manual application?.
If so use that pcm / calibration.

I'm looking at a 98 model 350 and 4L60E to purchase for a transplant.
I may prefer to use a manual tranny however. Does anyone see any
problems with me using this VCM with a manual tranny? I will of course
use a 40 tooth reluctor ring for the proper VSS signal. I'm wondering
if not having the PRNDL switch will affect anything?
