I can imagine that the coupling logic performs write to added RAM chip for
every C3 RAM read/write so there is always "mirror" of the C3 ram contents
in added RAM to sent out.
Very nice idea. It puts those "old" C3's to totally different position when
considering fine-tuning and missing greater frame rate of P4 and later ECMs.
What about putting EPROM emulator to that same card. The idea is to either
remove or move C3 EPROM to the card in ECM service port where also resides
either Flash or RAM chip to keep EPROM contents which can be altered by
using PIC and serial connection...
