No, it's really showing ~6-8 PSI on my Autometer Boost Gauge. The MAP only
sees no more than ~100 because I have a signal clamp on it to prevent the
PCM from going into la-la land. Now my SDS EIC also has an internal MAP that
it uses to set Injector Pulse Width and if I figure out how to hook up to
that then maybe I can get a more accurate reading from it. Either way I have
about 3 feet of vacuum hose to travel through before it gets to the sensor.
If the OBDI gets totally figured out then I wish to have a 2bar GM MAP
installed in the car and just use the OBDI for everything.
The closest uncalculated guess for the PSI difference is because the
Powerdyne BD-600 blower pushes around 400 CFM at 4.5 PSI at 6000
RPM(Powerdyne doesn't even have a bench reading and is just guessing). No
matter how hard I try my 1.9L Saturn Motor can only consume ~250 CFM and
everything else is just backing up in the manifold and charge tube until the
BOV opens up and releases the pressure. For now I have a TurboXs BOV opening
up as soon as I let off the gas for any reason and that seems to help. I
have conceived a design where an external wastegate is installed after the
S/C and works just like a BOV except controlled with a boost controller, but
that's a whole new issue.

That photo paints a better picture of how big this S/C actually is. The
scroll inlet opening is 3.0" ID and the charge is 2.75" OD
The BD-600 is normally mated to the 4.6L V8 Ford motors.

That's my story..
