Well,

I believe Jeep still has an inline 6 and it is fuel injected so its being 
done somehow. My guess is that it is port. Is it correct that the duty cycle 
limits a single TBI injector to firing only twice per rev, and that 3 times 
per rev doesn't allow sufficient time to get  the fuel spraying event 
completed? JW
