165 repair

I have a couple of 165's with blown aux fan drivers. I've disassembled
things and started trying to remove the heat sink and plastic clip on
the power devices. Has anyone successfully done this? How the clip comes
off is not obvious but maybe it's the conformal coating gluing things
together. The eventual goal is to repair both units. TIA.
