canister purge on 747

ok, so does someone has made the CP system work using a 747 ecm, don't even
need to be with the computer.  I guess I could just retain the regular
system that the 84 pickup has right now(works with vacuum) and plug it to a
port somewhere on the TB unit?  I was just curious about that, because I
also have a 8746 and was comparing the ecm connector pins.  Thanks for your
info.
